The other day Oliver absolutely refused to eat what we had for dinner…why…no, not the usual reasons, this time it was because I had said we were having something else and he was expecting something else…yes he is only 6! And that is when I came up with the menu idea. I said what if you knew what you were going to have every night…would you eat it? He said that he would.

Egg Territory
We’re at the stage in our house now where I can’t crack an egg….no literally I cannot do any more of the egg cracking – at all, not ever!
Grow Your Own
We had a wonderful afternoon today. Some friends that we hadn’t seen since we moved last time came over for tea and the children got on fabulously as if they had been meeting up all along it was great.
Cabbage
My son just ate cabbage! For the first time! With no bargaining, bartering, persuasion or anything...he just lifted it off his plate and ate it! I think he even surprised himself as he said "umm mummy that's nice!" and nice it was.
