
Taking the kids ice skating is a winter treat and there are so many ice rinks to choose from right now, especially in London. I'll be going to The Natural History Museum this year I think. When we lived in France the ice rinks were perfect for little kids, they had these little stands that children could hold onto and push along for balance as they skated... perfect! Now if only they had them for adults too.

Look I just have to share this with you. Is there a children’s Karate class somewhere near you? Do you know much about Karate? Would your child like Karate do you think? Well after this evening I LOVE KARATE. It’s pretty great anyway, wonderful for self discipline, manners, respect and coordination and my son absolutely adores it. He doesn’t get to mix with that many male mentors – all the teachers at his school are women!

The other day Oliver absolutely refused to eat what we had for dinner…why…no, not the usual reasons, this time it was because I had said we were having something else and he was expecting something else…yes he is only 6!
