I Kissed Bob Proctor

Had the most fabulous time the other night at The Yes Group, but it wasn't the happy, dancing yellow people who made it such a great night for me as I went for two reasons one to help out on The Money Gym stand and two to see Bob Proctor! Ever since the scene in The Secret where Bob Proctor kisses himself, I'd been enchanted by the man and started reading all of his stuff.

Spelling

People keep emailing me to tell me that my spelling is out...I'm using the wrong grammar and generally not being very good at all that sort of thing here on this blog.

Having been blog tagged twice in the past few weeks does that mean that I need to reveal 10 secrets about myself? Don’t I reveal them all online anyway?

Interview with Andy Shaw, Entrepreneur, Property Investor, Multi-Millionaire

This is my first meeting with a multi-millionaire and probably the nicest one you could possibly meet.  Disregard any pre-conceived notions of what you thought a multi millionaire might be like as Andy Shaw is a lovely, straight talking (lots of talking actually) genuine warm person.
After meeting Andy for the first time I thought that he would be the perfect person to feature here on the blog for an interview.  He was up for it and so began my most intriguing, inspiring and longest interview yet. 

The Property Investor 1

I’m really looking forward to meeting Peter Stanley, I’ve subscribed to his newsletter and love the simple property tips it offers plus I’ve been hearing very nice things about him.

Peter what led you to starting up in the property business then?

So I was doing really well, working in the bank it was a good job I was a Manager dealing with corporate clients.  But I just had this idea, this feeling within me.  Do I really want to still be here when I’m 50?  The answer really was a no!  It all started with me watching those property renovation programmes, I used to shout at the Telly!  You know so all this really just came together and I’d worked out the worst case scenario and just though come on let’s do it.  I spent years researching and in the end bought my first property while still working at the bank.

I sold it within the year and the profit I made on that replaced a year’s salary for me. So that was it no more excuses and I left.  After all I’d been doing my research for 5 years!  I was starting to think differently about money too and needed to develop confidence.  That’s what it’s all about really – confidence.  It was a classic case of Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway! Now I’ve made that move and taken the step there’s no going back – ever.

The Property Investor

I'm off to meet a very interesting property investor tomorrow and the interview will be out next week.  I'm hoping to discover the mind behind the man that invests in property and what got him started and what keeps him going and whether there really is the right type of personality to invest in property.  Plus of course any tips for new and wanabee property investors. .....so Watch this space!

A Real Live Internet Entrepreneur

Who is this PF I keep reading about everywhere I thought as for what seemed like the 10^th time his name popped up on somebody’s newsletter that I was reading. In fact it seemed that whatever I was researching, reading or interested in at the time these same initials kept on being mentioned. When I found out that he actually lived near me I thought that’s it I have to meet him! So I plucked up the courage and asked Nicola for his email – yes he said he would be more than happy to be interviewed for my blog and so off I went to meet him - Paul Fuggle.

The new Millionaire Minds Series will provide an insight into the minds of some of the UK's top buinsess,internet and property experts. 

I recently mentioned that I was going to be featuring interviews with famous internet entrepreneurs and property investors.  Well last month I interviewed the Internet Entrepreneur Paul Fuggle of www.totalbusinesscart.com fame.  It was an inspiring visit I can tell you.  I’ll be posting it next week and it’s the first of what I hope to become a really great line up of interviews.
